Head of Marketing – BPerfect & Voduz

Position Overview:
BPerfect Cosmetics & Voduz are experiencing exceptional growth, which is why we’re looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated Head of Marketing to lead both Marketing Teams. The Head of Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth across online, social media, TikTok, retail, and wholesale channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in driving multi-channel marketing strategies, digital marketing, affiliate marketing, influencer marketing, e-commerce best practice, brand management, retail management, plus an understanding of the cosmetics industry.

You will need to apply strong, inspirational leadership skills to manage and motivate a marketing team to deliver marketing activities, campaigns, and collaborations, and build customer engagement to increase brand awareness and drive sales.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Leadership:
- Develop, lead and implement overall marketing strategies to ensure they’re aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Lead and mentor both BPerfect and Voduz’s high-performing marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to inform 360 Marketing plans.

Digital & Social Media Marketing:
- Drive the company’s digital presence with a focus on e-commerce, social media and affiliate platform management best practice.
- Oversee content creation, influencer partnerships, and campaigns to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Utilise data analytics to measure the success of digital campaigns and optimise performance.

 Brand Management:
- Strengthen the brand identity and ensure consistent messaging across all channels in consultation with other Senior Managers.
- Develop and execute creative marketing campaigns to promote new product launches, brand sponsorships and ongoing promotions.
- Collaborate with the product development team to align marketing initiatives with product innovations and ensure a 360 Marketing plan across all channels is delivered.

Retail & Wholesale Marketing:
- Develop marketing strategies to support retail and wholesale partners, including in-store promotions, events, merchandising, and educational training.
- Build and maintain relationships with key wholesale partners, ensuring optimal product placement and promotional activities.
- Create marketing materials and support tools for wholesale partners to effectively market our products.

Budget Management & ROI Analysis:
- Manage marketing budgets, allocating resources efficiently across different channels and campaigns.
- Track and report on the performance of marketing initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for improvement to Senior Management.
- Ensure all marketing activities provide a strong return on investment.

Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, new product development, graphic design, operations, and customer service, to align marketing strategies with business objectives.
- Communicate marketing plans and progress to senior management, providing insights and recommendations.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

 Desirable Criteria:
- Strong understanding of the online, retail and wholesale landscape in the cosmetics industry.
- Creative thinker with a passion for beauty and cosmetics, excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Adaptable to change and willingness to embrace new ideas and processes.
- Ability to make quick but rational decisions when working under pressure.
- The ability to use software packages competently, including Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
